Description The pyromaniac fire ant hybrid villain, Derek Cantorelli aka Inferno

Before his transformation, Derek was a bouncer for one of Omina City's most high class nightclubs. He's had to deal with difficult and drunk customers and a rich boss who kept giving Derek the minimal amount of money in his paychecks. All this led to Derek becoming a very bitter man and treating those around him really bad, especially his girlfriend Tina, who he constantly belittled and physically abused. This all changed when they were caught in the "DNAftershock" event that changed hundreds of others into Hybrids. Derek and Tina were changed into Fire Ant Hybrids and their relationship dynamic changed. Tina became a Fire Ant queen and commands Derek do what ever she says even if it's against his will. This was due to his animal instincts command him as a drone to follow his queen's orders. It wasn't all bad for Derek though, in his hybrid form he can lift 8.5 tons and breath a stream of fire. With these abilities he must defend his queen while she uses him build up a massive army of her fire ant children.

I also love how they are still very different.  For example, your Inferno doesn't want to serve his "queen" and she's actually a "queen."

Sorry but no, she's only interested in starting an army and ruling everything. The Queen is quickly breeding an army of fast growing mutant ants. She can birth an army of 200 in a week.

Queen controls Inferno completely but she can seduce other male insects to do her bidding without the use of pheromones.

Reason I asked is because if the Hybrids try to take her down, she could try to seduce Trevor and that would  be another thing the team would have to deal with, trying to defeat her along with one of their own

That actually would make a good story. The way I see it happening is Trevor is tricked by Queen to believe she is imprisoned by Inferno and needs his help. When the Team tries to take her down along with Inferno, Trevor goes against them to protect her until she reveals her true colors.

kind of missed opportunity not calling him Fire Bug (a term meaning Pyromaniac)
Antferno would be a cool name too, I don't know, i just really like pun and ironic names

Thanks! The fire was a little hard for me to draw because I wanted it exactly right. So I took a look at pictures of flames streaming from flamethrowers to get it how I wanted.

Thanks! I think this guy has the best powers out of any villain so far. The fire blast came from his animal name and I actually to research how much fire ants can lift to find out how much he could lift. It was 5,000 lbs their own weight! and Inferno weighs about 400 lbs!
