Mechanicon used to be the labor droid Mecko from the cyberformed planet Techros. His days were the same until Travail invaded his planet and in the chaos of the invasion, Mecko fell into a recycle chute and fell into the depths of trash and metal. Alone and fearing no one would rescue him, Mecko took himself apart and put himself back together with parts and weapons from other bots and escaped. That day Mecko became Mechanicon. He took out many of Travail's forces and dismantled his fellow robots to upgrade himself. Travail found the robot who was causing so much trouble and saw much potential in him. Mechanicon was recruited to become a general and was promised to be given the most advanced and dangerous weapons they would recover from each planet they conquered. As a gift to Mechanicon, Travail gave him total control over Techros, to do with it as he saw fit. Mechanicon destroyed the planet and with the wreckage, he built three colossal spaceships capable of cyber terraforming whole planets to be just like his former homeplanet with the exception of making them become cold desolate mechanical wastelands.
