It's the Guardians of the Galaxy's turn now. I knew you guys might of been expecting Rocket, so I decided to shake things up and have his female clone take his place. For those of you who don't know about Shocket, her and Linda (Howard the Duck's female clone) were created by the Collector Rocket and Howard who were the Collector's prisoners at the time. For more info on their story check out the comic here scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/582… (They show up at the end) scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/589… (Their origin story) and scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/597… (They meet their male counterparts)So the story with Shocket and Groot is that someone is after the original Guardians of the Galaxy and they've managed to capture Starlord, Gamora, Drax, and Rocket. Groot was destroyed in the attempt of his capture and a small piece of him survived. Days after that Groot regrew his original size and set out to find help from anyone that had connections to his teammates. This led him to finding Shocket and somehow convincing her to help him(a translator overheard something about 1 million credits) . So now Groot along with the even more trigger happy Shocket are on a mission to find other allies and save the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Nope. Drax won't make it out alive. Rocket will go back to Lylla. Quill and Gamora go off to somewhere in the galaxy, but may return. With a new team of Guardians, the previous ones felt like it was time for them to relax.

Besides what Zigwolf said, the original Guardians of the Galaxy were Vance Astro, Charlie-27, Martinex, and Yondu. The version you're familiar with is from a revamp of the concept from the aughts which became the movie team.

Well since the movie, every iteration of the GotG goes for the movie team. I wanted to fo a shake up and have them disappear while a new team comes together to find them.

After his final battle, Thanos is punished by being stuck outside of all reality with an individual infinity stone stuck in his head, chest, hands, and feet. In this universe, there is no Death for Thanos to be in love with, in her place is Hela. The balancing of population is Thanos' goal, but he's less sympathetic about it here.
With Galactus destroyed, Norrin finally returned home, having earned his happy ending. But he still patrols the galaxy to protect worlds from massive threats. Also here, he is known as the Silver Searcher.

Almost, but he sees himself as Judge, Jury, and Exectuionor to worlds that are out of control and on the way to their destruction like his world. He's more sinister than sympathetic.

Don't get all accusatory, that's not a good look on anyone. I don't want Thanos to be weaker, but I'm tired of villains we have to feel sorry for due to their tragic backstories. Can't we have villains that are evil just for the sake of being evil.
