Description
My redesign for the fake alien Slapstrike from Ben 10 Omniverse. When I saw the episode that had Slapstrike and Unitaur in it, I new I just had to draw him. I didn't like his design in the show so I went with another alien design, one based on the villain from Ken 10, Mot Snikrep. The two looked very similar, so I designed Slamstrike to look a lot like an Omnitrix version of whatever species they are. The biggest change here is the size of his hands. I couldn't keep the size Mot has because they were really small so to fit the new version of Slapstrike I gave him huge hands like his Omniverse counterpart. I'm really happy with the way this turned out and the one letter name change.

Awesome redesign/fusion. Is that a tail I see? Why doesn't he have full-on pants/boots like Diamondhead?

Yes Mot Snikrep had one as well.
Because he doesn't need full on pants and boots.

Yeah, I saw him on the character concept sheet with all the other designs.

I take it Slapstrike would be his poor-man's name for the TV Show and Slamstrike wuld be the 'real' name? Like the Fiery or Handy Buddy nonsense from the OS? And I Take it his power is super strength but with a super-powerful grip? AND likely a seismic hand slam like HAriyama? (I am etting a BIG Hariyama vibe from the alien. sue me)
...is it wrong if I actually want to use these two when I do my take on that episode? Collectimus excluded since he was a REALLY dumb character idea (I will still doan overzealous fan thingt hough ;; Heck, maybe let it be Nemesis/overlord who tries to mess up the show since Ben has intergalactic fame and all)

I never thought of that before but that is a good idea.
Yup, all his main strength is in his arms and hands. Even simple clapping could cause some serious sonic thunderclaps.
Oh snap, how could I have not seen that coming, he totally is like Hariyama.
Go right ahead.
Yeah get rid of Collectimus, that guy was really annoying. Maybe you could go for a Batmite type of overzealous fan for this that is obsessed with everything related to Ben and can even throw in some meta jokes in relating to how fans react to some things in the overall franchise. Oooooh, I just got an idea, what if this guy has 4th wall perception and the way Ben can defeat him is with randomly unlocking Oversight.

Maybe him and Uniburn are unlocked when Ben is on Ravannah? Ya know, to please Young One?
...I feel bad for Skurd XP he is stuck to him by then. XP

Oooh, what if we do a callback to when Ben unlocked the Master Control by having Young One start messing with the omnitrix and then all that messing around produces a hologram of multiple aliens and YG points to two of them that he recognizes and they are unlocked.
Huh, I didn't realize that Skurd was in the series at that point.

He wasn't I had him originally work with PSychobos early on but he ends up benig the new 'regulator' after the Outbreak incident in my take of Omniverse. It's kinda to giveh im more of a charater than just the 'one off character'.
That works too XP He can easily be fidding to see what's in it and it results in the unlocking them and maybe even analyuzing his DNA for the Omnitrix, thus he has a Ravanagander form. (likely a more 'badass Normal' form and one more for agility XP WHIC he likely rarely uses as to not make Rook feel weird (Reason why Rook didn't give it? Simple; he wears a mostly body covering suit of armor. His DNA would be harder to scan because of that)

Thanks. And yeah, Skurd's powers also got a slight update. He can use the poers of aliens he is connected too, but when it coems to weapons...it has to be somethings ensical baout them. Like, say, using one of CAnnonbolt's armor plates to make shields or something like that. If they have amorphing power like Diamondhead he can craft things, but that's only IF that is a already a power. He can't make, say, fire maces or a megaphone out of Echoecho (He'd have to make an actual HEAD of Echo Echo and combine that)
Gotcha XP and yeah, 'Rook Ben' is still gonna be a big fan of Ben...but Kundo...NOT so much XP And yes, Kundo has more than just two appearances.

For one, he's the 'head' of Rook's village's council of elders. Basically old fuddy duddies who want tradition to stay and are VERY racist towards non-Ravonaganders, thinking they are gonna pollute their planet...WHICH is why they aren't keen on Sherrif Wat-Sen being stationed on Ravannah after the Highbreed Invasion. AND later on Rook joining the Plumbers, they think it'd just lead to problems.

Though ironically enough...McCree from Overwatch gave m an idea with Wat-Sen. ;; You know...making him a sort of grizzled cowboy cop compared to Max's more military-based mindset XP Basically why he enjoys Ravannah; it' easier on his old body but still has enough activity so he can stay in shape. XP Heck, maybe he is a big fan of Earth Westerns and styled his uniform off of them?

Zigwolf In reply to Shadow-DJ [2016-08-30 18:23:26 +0000 UTC]
That could work, they do have similar looks, so it's not a stretch to transfer some of McCree's design elements to Wat-Senn. The idea of him being a fan of Earth Westerns is a good one. Maybe being on Revannah, not many broadcast signals make it to the planet so Wat-Senn gets DVDs or holocubes from other plumbers to watch in his time off and he got some Western movies given to him by Max.

Thanks XP and yeah...it'd help explain why he wans to be called 'Sherrif'...since NO OTHER PLUMBER in the entire franchise EVER uses that moniker.

Eyep. And while he may not be as young as he used to be, he's still one of the best shots in the Plumers.
Heck, in a time-travel based thing I got planned for GUardins (Inspired by BAck to the FUture)...I'm kinda thinking that we see Max's team during his career when the intergalactic stuff started to come in.
I partially think that the Plumbers went intergalactic when Vilgax started getting seen on Earth during that time, so Xeylene gets agents from a big wig knwon as the Magistrata to start using the Plumbers as an example of how to deal with alien threats. Given that they used technology from the Roswell incident. Thus Pateliday, Wat-Senn and some of the older aliens came to Earth to join their ranks on Earth while Vilgax was around. With Phil, of course, being Max's partner back then.

Shadow-DJ In reply to Zigwolf [2016-09-07 04:42:23 +0000 UTC]
Here's what I think could work wiht at least Guardians:
I believe it went intergalactic before Area 51 was established and around the ROswell incident happened. You know, they covered it up but the alien in question worked for a galactice peace keeping group looking for a criminal known as Benevelon, a world destroyer who goes to 'waring' planets and bring peace by wiping out life. The Plumbers, who were just dealing with cryptid sightings and magical phenonmeon at the time, were skeptical about it before they are asked to help them out. Basically after they beat back Benevelon, the alien in quesiton gave the okay for Level 2 weapons and had the PLumber scientists take them so that they can keep an eye on things and gives a badge to the then president of the USA in secret so that the Earth was under the alliance of planets unofficially.
I'm basically setting Benevelon BEFORE Max was born to better go with te background that he joined thanks to Labrid, who was a liason for the Magistata before they allowed alien agents on Earth, during the 1960s. (Guessing Max was around that time since Armstrong's mission was in 1969) During that time frame and MAx's career, he met Xylene at the Roswell sight (she was looking for any signs of Benevelon's robot that went missing in the late 1940s) and she became the first female intergalactic plumber to join Earth's forces, thogh Verdona was REALLY jealous as this was after they had gotten into a reltaionship (I'm having it that Xylene and Verdona kinda hve a sort of...sitcom rivalry thing. Max relaly did ike Xylene, but when she had left sometime to work with Azmtuh on the Omnitrx, he had officially married Verdona) and they later recruited Pateliday and Wat-Senn during Max's time before he and Phil sent Vilgax on a nuke. believing that the most dangerous criminal o the time had been killed, the Plumbers of Earth disbaded the intergalactic side of things as things got a LOT quieter with only a few lost aliens here and there, so they just let the aliens deal with it and Earth got out of the galactic spotlight, being seen as just a backwater planet afterwards.

Zigwolf In reply to Shadow-DJ [2016-09-08 02:09:27 +0000 UTC]
Wow, that was long. I feel like I'm in history class again.
My take on the reason for intergalactic Plumbers are that after Xylene was made an honorary Plumbette, she started to go to different galaxies and establish different versions of Plumbers. Here they aren't law enforcement, when it comes to regular criminals and matters of war, they leave it up to alien law enforcement and their military but for the weird and strange circumstances, that's when they're called, like the original Plumbers. They even deal with supervillain matters and Xylene was even on a Plumber mission when transporting the Omnitrix since many were looking to turn it into a weapon.
After Ben gave up the omintrix, Max started to worry about who would defend the universe now that the Plumbers were gone and Ben no longer had the Omnitrix, he was no longer thinking on a global level, he was thinking on a galactic scale. So in the years between OS and AF, Max started to recruit some of his old Plumber Friends to restart the Earth Plumbers again. After that, he and Xylene started to establish the Galactic Plumbers with the help of old allies like Tetrax, Gluto, Myaxx, and Azmuth.

I also noticed the similarities between him and the villain Mot Snikrep(which is the reverse name of Tom Perkins), and I end up liking more the design of Thomas N. Perkins more, and also liking your version more cause is based on that one!

I see what you mean but his design was just too basic for my liking plus his anatomy was really weird, huge hands but his skinny arms were able to hold them up. I can't see that working.
