Description
Here's my redesign of Terraspin.I felt that his original design was too robotic and the way he used his powers were robotic also. His legs which seemed round would suddenly flatten and fuse together and with his arms would somehow move from the top to bottom of his body in a helicopter rotor motion.
In this design I made him a little less humanoid and based him off of galapagos turtle which Terraspin's species' name is based on. In this version his shell opens up and inhales large amounts of air and exhales it through the stomach holes that still remain in this version. When using this power he can achieve short bursts of flight and continuous flight if he breathes constantly. If reverses the flow from stomach to shell he can create small tornadoes on top of him. If he inhales from both ends he can focus it into a concentrated superblast of breath from his mouth. He moves alot like the helicopters from Avatar. The holes underneath his flippers blast air too and also him to move from side to side fairly easily.
I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out except for the small mistake on the left side of the front view Terraspin. I especially like the the black lines on his eyes and the covers on his flippers, I think it gives Terraspin an original series feel. I also like his purple eyes, I like some Omnitrix aliens having green eyes but when all of them have it then I got a problem, so now I'm going for eye color variety for my own aliens and redesigned aliens from the show.

Sweet redesign! What mistake did you make? I can't find it.

Thanks. The middle one. One part of his shell was done greener than the rest.Β

I'm with ya on the weird thing with Terraspin honetsly. But I think it's more of a sort of...connection to mana to give it that.
Heres' what I mean: I think Terraspin is using a laten form of Mystical abilities (As Adwaita is actually a member of Terraspin's species) and they use that to manipulate their bodies to do what they can do. Heck, the holes in their shell that create the storms is also just that: Magic in action.
And yes, I know it's lazy to say 'it's magic', BUT ti's the best idea why it's like that. I am not a writer in the show so I cannot explain it, nor can I just bring Dwanye McDuffie back from the dead and ask him myself.

That does sound plausible. Though its my personal hang ups about mana that keep me from fully accepting that it could be an explanation. If only we got to see an anatomical structure of Terraspin to know how his powers work.

Indeed...
Either that or his body has some osrt of odd mutation via his mysticism and he has inner storage for wind inside of his shell.
Honestly if he kept to all four limbs being out and the body spinning in a disc-like formation, then this power would make more sense...

Personally, I never had a problem with Terraspin's design or how his wind powers worked, but I can see where you're coming from with this.
Also, I agree, there should've been more eye-color variety(especially when it also affects aspects of the alien's design, like the "water" inside Water Hazard's barnacles being green instead of blue).

It's just that the way his powers and anatomy function that has always baffled me, even by alien standards.
Yeah, thought I think the green should stay to some stuff like some aliens eye color(but not all) and organic stuff like you said the water in WH's barnacles and also with Buzzshock's lightning being green. One place I think it doesn't work is the alien's uniforms being green and black, sometimes the look works but sometimes it doesn't like how I think it doesn't work XLR8, the combination of blue, green, and black looks weird to me every time I see him.

True... though, he is called Terraspin, so the spinning fan thing didn't bother me as much(that's just me, though). Btw, are you planning on redoing this one like you did for your "Armordrillo" rework?
Agreed... Though, to be fair, both Buzzshock and Frankenstrike have used green electricity since the original series(and, as aliens like Ampfibian and Shocksquatch have shown, electricity doesn't come in just one color). Plus, while the new outfits and green-on-black color-scheme might not've worked, it does support the idea that his clothes affect his aliens' uniforms.

Yeah, I know that but it's so weird that his arms and legs rotate from the bottom his body to the top if his head. If I could only see what their anatomy is like then I'd stop complaining about it.
Oh yeah I forgot about that, maybe Buzzshock and Frankenstrike have green lightning because their abilities are slightly mechanical in nature while Shocksquatch and Ampfibian's lightning comes naturally.
That's true! I guessΒ someone should be careful what they wear the first time they transform with the omnitrix or else they're aliens could look ridiculous. Like if the omnitrix showed up in the 90s when bright neon colored tye dye shirts were in. I mean could you imagine Four Arms with a neon green and blue costume ?

I know,
That would've actually been an interesting explanation... a shame that the writers never thought of it(to my knowledge, anyway).
I just did. I lol'd.

Yeah, it could. And now since you mentioned it, I feel like designing Shellhead
