My version of Winnie from Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School.Winnie Talbot is a fairly shy normal girl by day, but when the sun sets she changes into her werewolfΒ form and unleashes her wilder side. Winnie was sent by her father to Madame Grimwood's Private School for Girl's to get her wolf side under control. It was there that she would meet her group of friends Sibella, Tanis, Elsa, and Phantasma. When Mystery Inc comes to investigate the school, Winnie takes an immediate liking to Shaggy, whispering to him that like her, he's got a wolf inside him desperate to come out.
Here I wanted to show both sides of Winnie since she's the only girl in her group of friends capable of transformation. In her human form she's physically 13 years old while her werewolf form has grown to be physically 18 years old.

You said once that each Scooby Doo member was a monster in their own right, like shaggy being a werewolf, can you tell which monster each member will be?

Well Shaggy is disguised as a groundskeeper when he first goes to the school in order to blend in, but Winnie can sniff out one of her kind from a mile away and she starts to zero in on who it is. She find him out eventually.

Unfortunately, the first time it happened, Shaggy was out in the open and the rest of Mystery Inc had to deal with him and theΒ monster of the week they were facing. So it was quite the hectic night of fright. Β

I just had an idea about the Winnie biting Shaggy problem!
Here's the setup, and also a possible backstory. This version of Silas Long wasn't no ordinary werewolf during his life, but was instead one of the most feared, hated, infamous monsters that terrorized the people who lived in Crystal Cove during its early days, even the other creatures and his own kind despised him! He embraced his animal side, hunting & killing anything he came across for sport, whether it was an animal, human, or monster, not evening caring for the repercussions. He committed many atrocities before he was finally captured and burned at the stake, with a silver dagger driven into his heart. Before he died, he uttered a dark and terrible curse that still haunts the town to this very day,"When the moon has turn red as blood, I will rise again as a beast, neither living nor dead! I will unleash a plague that will turn all that I wound into beasts that feel nothing but insatiable hunger for flesh, blood, bone, and all! Only one who has my blood and has embraces the wolf inside of him or her can vanquish me, forever!" Many prayed that the curse would not come true, and as the years turned into decades, and the decades turned into centuries, the curse and the story of Silas Long, the Wolfman of Crystal Cove, had turned from history into legend. But what many did not know was that a rare planetary event would happen soon, in which the light that Mars would generate from the Sun would reflect onto the Moon, causing it to turn blood red, it would last from beginning to the end of November, and the blood moon was going to happen soon. Another dark secret that Silas took to his grave was that shortly before he died, he had become infatuated with Amanda Beauregard, a young city werewolf, the heiress of the Beauregard wealth and Shaggy Rogers' great, great, great, great, great, grandmother on his mom's side of the family. Taking his human form, he attempted to court her, but she rejected his advances, as she knew of his reputation. Enraged by this, the night before he was captured, he broke into her room and took her by force. After learning she was pregnant with his child, she fled Crystal Cove and did not return for 7 years, during which she gave birth to a little girl she named Sarah. She lied to her family about who the father, taking this secret, and any record of it with her to the grave. During the gang's 1st encounter with the undead werewolf, Silas senses that Shaggy has the wolf in him, but it is suppressed deeply. He bites Shaggy, hoping to creat the 1st member of his new pack, but instead unleashes Shaggy's true werewolf form. Can Shaggy control his inner wolf and defeat Silas, or will he become even worse than his ancestor in both wildness and savagery?
This is just a possible idea for Silas' backstory and Shaggy's werewolf origins, but I'm not sure if this would take place before or after the Grimwood School incident, what do you think of it, Zigwolf?

So what do you think about it? I fixed it about Shaggy being in control of his inner wolf. In terms of appearances, Silas' and Shaggy's werewolf forms would resemble William from Underworld Evolution, but they would have wolf tails, Silas' fur would be jet black, and Shaggy's would be dark brown.

I saw the summary for Winnie and that Shaggy had a wolf in him that wanted out, I instantly had an idea. I know you already have an idea for Werewolf Shaggy from your discussion with Shadow-DJ, but here's my idea.
The setup is that before Winnie didn't turn Shaggy into a werewolf, but she merely awakened the werewolf in him, due to him having the blood of a werewolf in him from is ancestor, Silas Long, the Wolfman of Crystal Cove. Due to Shaggy having the blood of a werewolf in him, he is more powerful than most other werewolves and has more control over his inner wolf.

Hmmm, not bad of an idea with Shaggy being the descendent of Silas Long. Though I'mΒ not too sure about Winnie just awakening Shaggy's werewolf form and Shaggy having more control over his werewolf form.
1) I'm just having trouble seeing the method of how Winnie causes Shaggy's transformation other than biting.
2) Werewolves have relatively good control over their wolf forms in this universe. Winnie is the daughter of a werewolf and has expert control over her wolf form. Shaggy on the other hand is the great, great, great, great, great grandson of Silas Long, so he doesn't have the wolf side in control as other werewolves who spent their lives controlling their wolf instincts.

Yeah, sorry about that, just an idea. In my idea, the wolf gene can sometimes not appear for several generations, with those descendants not being be able to change into werewolf, but having a connection to the wild & other canines, and having a strong inner wolf. If bitten by werewolf and you have the gene, you will change into one, but you have a much stronger hold on your inner wolf and be more powerful than other werewolves. Just my idea, you do your own thing.
A side note, will you ever do Silas Long or the Wolfman in the future?

How old is she in this picture? You said in the human form she has a 13 year old's body, and her werewolf form has the body of a 18 year old. If she took a liking to Shaggy I think that she should be around 14 to 15 years of age. Still developing but not too young.

Well she is 13, soon to turn 14 and Shaggy is actually 16 but because ofΒ his mother's side of theΒ family, Shaggy had a grown spurt which made him look much Β older than 16.Β So both of them in different ways look older than they really are.

Hmm...I take it Shaggy is actually a werewolf? Since you said that 'he has a wolf that needs to be released'? So is that how he would be able to help the others more? By going Wolf on their foes?

He's been a werewolf up to the point where he meets Winnie. Shaggy does use his werewolf powers when they are needed but he can only transform on a full moon since he wasn't born a werewolf and on most full moon nights he uses wolfsbane to suppress his transformation.
