Darkly dreaming of my TwinEver scratching at my skin
Venom in my blackened veins
Inside me the chaos reigns
Aching limbs and burning soul
Never tiring of my goal
Taunting all who care to look

Another practice painting/manip which took on a life of its own.
I started with this stock: [link] from *LongStock because I liked the mesh top she's wearing. Then I was playing around with the stock not really knowing what to do and just kinda drew the little imp guy as a practice study. It just went on from there really.
Seemed like a cool theme to play around with so the idea of the Countess came around.
The hardest part was cloning out the gun. OMG that took forever. Hopefully its pretty seamless now.

actual Countess Bathory in high school and you captured the spirit of the woman pretty well

Interesting, I like the imp and the hands, but I find the neck and face seem to be rather flat. It's defiantly better than anything I could do but I feel like I've come to expect more detail in your work. Seems as though her neck should have a concave V in it.
Then again, the plainness of it looks to symbolize emptiness in a way.

I am actually from the region where Bathory lived (and died)...I must say I always had a very different picture of her in mind; not that I would go around picturing psychotic dutchesses, but still - yours does look MUCH better

Nice photoshop work as usual. I think it looks pretty seamless, well done. My critique would be the face/hair. Perhaps a little more detail such as a lightly brushed texture into areas where the shadow would cast for facial bumps/lines, and some extra strand details in the hair would help bring the head up to par with the detail seen in the hands. Plus the extra age it would add would probably make it a bit more dramatic. Still very nice work as you allways do.

I like it a lot better when you dont rely so much on the stock and add more artistic elements to it, and dont try to make it so realistic. It just feels better, like here.

I didn't even notice that you had removed the gun from the stock until I read your description. (Unfortunately after that I spotted a few little errors, but pobody's nerfect 
Also, I really like the demon imp and his stance, it's perfect!
