Description
a mixture of traditional art and modern abstract feel.the clouds and mountain peak were created from scratch, freehand, with my Wacom tablet and photoshop. The 2D was added later using Illustrator.

Very nice work on the side of brush work etc. But im really uncertain about the vector and 2d work. The 45 degree lines to the right are probably perfect but the rest, sorry dude just not feeling it.
I think it would do better with out imo. But thats an opinion dont mean to say im right or wrong. Great work though

This is gorgeous! Probably one of the nicest in the genre I have seen. Personally, I'd like it better without the 2D, but that's just me.

As I have told you before, I love this concept - you've have pulled it off very nicely! This is a piece full of emotion. It makes me think of this...........
The calm before the storm - when you reach a point in your life that has been clouded with feelings of despair, not knowing any of the answers to the questions, or what the future holds. Then the jagged truth(the mountains) finally emerges, and although the obvious answer is hard to swallow , there is a sense of calmness, and little sparks of hope. I could go on, but I would just be getting way to personal, so I will leave it at that. The way that the clouds at the top are falling into the rest of the piece remind me of one of my favorite songs-
Landslide by Fleetwood Mac. This song also holds the same type of emotion for me. Maybe that is why I have associated these types of feelings with this piece.
