Description
Meshed and rendered in 3D Studio. Same technique as the tutorial I posted, only this time I radically increased the amount of meshsmooth, raytrace antialiasing and most importantly the size - this was rendered at 2400x1600 (so it should make for a cracking print).Brushing in Photoshop.
2 hours work.

Not as big a fan of this shape as some of your other spiky things, but I like the texture of the object itself, and the particle effects and lighting are awesome. They give it a soft, if almost eerie, glow to it.

i LOVE it
love the floating particles around the spiky things, but the most i love is the texture a color of the creature, looks like some kind of alien form floating in an alien sea

man, this is exactly what i've been loking for in an abstract wallpaper, it's all smooth and kind of painted looking compared to your toher stuff, with a brilliant centre object and the lighting effect used with the particle effect too is jus like total

The render is cool..Although I think this piece could benefit from some major brushwork and lighting. I think you got the effect you were going for but I see this piece could be alot better. Hope you like honesty

love the layering how the squiggy goes back so far into the darkness, and there is some nice brushing

AHHH, i am going to KILL you. Well OK not really, nice brushing. Dont like the render. I just really dislike that style of render. 3DSM is fine, but i dont like those 'blob with tentacles' renders. Not for me i guess. Nice brushing anyway.
