(Originally an FAE submission but couldn't finish it in time, so i decided to finish it in the mean time)

For this design of a Shadow guardian I wanted the design to be a bit different from other designs, with a unqiue pattern scheme. Also making a more unique look for him, which the pattern and colors turned out really nice for him in the end.

Bio:
Dormor, The Shadow Guardian is quite more of a serious looking dragon, due to his marks, face, and horns, he is more different from most shadow dragons that live in the Dragon Realms. He has mastered the shadow element for years, which to what he says, hes been mastering it for over 309 years which hes 314 years old, older then Ignitus, and the other guardians. Where he lives is no surprise but its more different than place, he lives in Renia City, the third largest city, which is a few miles away from Warfang or maybe more, he lives with the other 3 guardians, Pione The Poison Guardian, Fearon The Fear Guardian, and Drifa The Wind Guardian, they are his friends mainly at the place, he does have some other friends but everyone else, they see as just a guardian, but his story and the way he looks makes some people afraid, which he knows, the way he trains fellow shadow dragons is serious and focused, testing them to their limits and doesn't train those who act reckless.

Story:
Now before the story, the marks are what tell us about him, shadow dragons have black marks, or dark blue marks around them representing shadow, but for his marks he has the black marks, but he has violet blue marks on him, which those marks are not on any other shadow dragon but him, the story for his marks begins back from when he was a young dragon to a adult.

Before the Dawn of the Dragon or, the Year of The Dragon there was a shadow dragon that was unique unlike many, he was master at his element, profound combat and wisdom, he was Dormor, The Shadow Guardian. During his young years, his father was a skilled in the combat of Dragon Kata and the shadow element, he trained him to where he can break his limit and become stronger, his mother was wise and caring, often telling him about the ancient world and the ancient beings of the shadow element. He often would take after his father, and help and care for his mother when she got sick, during his fathers training he became more skilled at the art of Dragon kata and the shadow element way more profound than most shadow dragons at just the young age of 6 which would take more to become skilled at. During his teenage years he was often admired by those around him, and acknowledged by teachers at the academy of dragons, which is not around his place, his knowledge was great and knew a lot about the history of his kind, and other dragons. He succeeded in many tests along the way, even his toughest one, a long tough course to test all of his skills to which he came in first many times but didn't brag or boast, he admired at those who tried who either succeeded or didn't in which he would those who had a hard time, he lived much of a happy life during his years, until around the age of 17, his father succumbed to a fever which was making him sick, Dormor and his mother tried their best to help care for him, but in a few years he passed away, leaving only Dormor and his mother, Dormor didn't stop for what his father did, during a few years past to his adult years he spent all his life training himself, pushing to limits as much as he could, to where his body began to get sore, and even his shadow element, which within the age of 29 he became a master of it, learning and knowing all the techniques of it, he then later became a teacher at the Academy and was well known for his wisdom, devotion, and his great will, until the age of 34 is where his marks story began, when he was traveling on foot to the academy, he encountered a Shadow Snake, to where he tried to fight back until it bit him, the shadowy venom was inside him, and was draining him, but what he did though was something no one has done, he embraced the shadowy venom and allowed to flow through his body hoping it wouldn't kill him, what happened was the venom was gone but somehow it transformed into marks of violet purple, changing his spike colors, and his head frill, and there his marks stayed on him for all time, but after he managed to survive it, the Shadow Snake came back but only to now see that someone survived it, which the snake seemed shocked and confused, Dormor was about to attack it until the snake came close and lowered itself, which the snake realized a feeling of affection to Dormor, which Dormor himself was confused then realized himself, which he layed his hand on the snakes head, after that the snake left, and Dormor didn't understand at first, but realized he befriended, a creature that was somewhat like him, though after that he saw some students that watched what happened and came up to him and wondered how did you do that? He wasn't sure, thats what he said, so now as years past he grew older, and trained and helped students, til the age of 280 he left his home, saying goodbye to his mother and left to Renia City, to become a guardian of Shadow, he then met the Guardian, Pione, Fearon, and Drifa his friends of Renia City, and so, as the years past, after The Year of The Dragon, and The Dawn of The Dragon, he is now 314 years old, and lived and stayed at Renia City ever since, training those of the Shadow Element, and even Cynder The Dragoness.
