"Ace of Swords" is about the strength and will to continue on your way every day, to make choices that may seem cruel, but are necessary and right. It is a clear vision and understanding in any situation of what exactly needs to be done.
It's as if fate itself wanted to break the little orc, but instead made him a real warrior, an orc who knows for sure that there is always a choice. Nel overcame obstacles with dignity and always saw his way, he does not shy away from his words and principles, he is as straight as the sword blade itself. But in this struggle for truth and justice, one can lose oneself, become what one fights against. That is why Nel's heavy and partly sad look often seems to speak to us: "Don't awaken the beast in me." / "Don't awaken forces in me that you won't be able to handle later."
