This was alittle idea I thought about... That'd I'd make a "comic" to Rubis' "theme song".

This comic was drawn to "The Remedy (I won't worry)" By Jason Mraz. <~ bolded for no reason. a link to the lyrics can be found here.

Anywho, to explain things, I'm making a sort of comic to this song. These are the first four lines from the first verse. the next comic will be titled "The Remedy - Verse 1, part 2" and then "the Remedy, Chorus". I'm pretty sure I'll make the chorus have only one part. I plan on finishing this. if I don't, pester me until I do. I really want to finish a comic for once.

I love like.. tons of songs by Jason Mraz. He makes great songs, but ever since I was little I've always had a thing for "care free" kinda songs. Examples would be "Allstar" by Smashmouth.... well I don't usually hear too many songs like these... or I just can't remember any. I love these saongs because they say how good life can be, if you make something out of it. a quote from Allstar, "You'll never shine if you don't glow". These songs... god I basically LIVE by them... they help me, they advise me, they inspire me to be a better person.

For some reason, "The Remedy" always reminds me of Rubis. I like to think Rubis tries to make the best out of life, I like to think he's always happy, he makes the best out of situations.

and it's mostly true, until he finds out that he's adopted... well he sort of has a mental breakdown and doesn't understand anything anymore, he forgets why he needs to be so happy. he forgets he can make things happy. he looses it.

But aside from that... Rubis always makes the best out of things. he tries at least. That's why it reminds me of him. "I won't worry my life away" says Jason Mraz. something that Rubis would likely say.

So about the comic itself. (By the way, if you try to steal ANY of the panels, good luck because I've rigged each one with invisible water marks, fools.) I tried useing no outlines, I have to say I like it. but all of these were drawn with my tablet. I really really like the first panel. the fireworks were so fun to make. I love them. :3 At first I had a purple lighting on him, as to suggest that a purple firework was out infront of him, but purple looked really really odd. I tried all sorts of colors and none of them looked very good. ~irkentak suggested I used yellow, and I did, and it friggin rocked. Thanks Vensy! I love Rubis in the first panel, he's so cute looking... god I act like Rubis is real sometimes. if he was I'd treat him like a friggin child to me... he is my child. child of my mind...

Whoops off topic. anywho...

The second panel is pretty ok, I'm happy with it. another firework. XD The thrid panel... god it bugs me. probably because I sat there for like 2 hours drawing Saphy in different poses. I couldn't pick a good damn pose, so I went for the classic cute shit with the hands behind her back and I friggin hate myself for it... @___@;;; The fourth panel's ok... the shading could have been better.. i think... but the cars... UGH CARS I friggin hate drawing cars. I tried though. XD; That's what counts, right?

I have like the first 3 panels of the next part planned, but I have NO idea what to do for the chorus.... @___@ I hope I think of something soon... Any suggestions, please post here.

One cool thing though, I really want to start painting. I love to paint, and I think I'll use the first panel. :3 I'm going to paint that, only bigger WHEE and guess WHAT?! I have BLACKLIGHT paint! ^_____^ so it'll light up omfg it'll be awsome. !!
