Description
It's Silver the Hedgehog from the Next-gen Sonic game!
It's 100% made in MS Paint, since it's the only art program I have.
I used an image as reference to see how he looked like though.
Silver is Β© SEGA, etc. etc...
EDIT: I just noticed that he's missing his right arm. o.O
I'll maybe fix that sometime, but most probably not. I don't know...

You know, ive poked a lot of more recent drawings but I never commented on this one.
How long must it have taken you to get all the shading correct on this drawing? This only makes me jealous of people with a tablet

Yea, there were only two official pictures existing at the time I drew this.
And the shading didn't take very long at all. When I look at this now I think I can see how I could have done it a little better.

Back then I only had one reference pic of him, and you couldn't see his eye color clearly in that.

Question: Seeing as a lot of artists here make a lot of characters with white fur, how do you guys do that on WHITE paper? Seriously, I want to know cause that is the hardest thing for me!

I mostly don't shade my pics, so if I would make a character with white fur I could just leave it and not color it in.
But I can't really explain things very well.

I joined dA about an hour ago and someone already faved my first deviation-thingy.
I used a great MS Paint guide to make the picture, especially with the shading, but I just don't remember what it was called.
