I made this because I thought this was a beautiful scene, but Oda drew Corazon kinda creepy with that last panel XDΒ
So here's my rendition.

Is so beautiful, Cora-san why you had to die?! You and Law would be so happy together... Oda has so much talent to make characters that we will love and we're going to suffer with their deads, the same with Ace. Excellent job TuT broke my heart, again xD

Such a sad scene!! And such a beautiful piece. Oda is so good at making you feel for characters you know aren't going to survive the flashbacks. Darn it, Corazon ;_;
And yes... I agree that his smile was pretty creepy, but it served it's purpose XD If it wasn't creepy, I probably would have been genuinely upset like I just lost a freakin' family member or something.

You said that last panel was creepy but actually I think it's meaningful, he really tries to smile in face of death, showing how ironic his goofiness is, when he really has brave heart, kind of becomingΒ D. Onquixote ! Also he's meant to be a kind of sad clown, because we know he really must be hurting inside.Β

I kinda hope something like this happens, like Law sees Cora Luffy and that's why he trusts him. Hell Luffy just went out of the way to save him even though Law never wanted his help and had practically given up after He was shot...just like Cora. AAHHH IT'S ALL COMING TOGETHER!!
