It is done!!!! this is the coffee mug design i made for myself as a Christmas gift too myself.... Actually my best friend said she would buy it for my once i designed it for her gift to me...Late right? well, i tried drawing this puppy about 3 times (and every one of them eventually got deleted due to computer failures) but it was all for the better, cause i improved my skills a little more than the first few ideas i had.
Anyhows, these characters are from my favorite series of novels by Louis Lamour called the "Sacketts"
Its about a long family line of kick butt mountain men. Barnabas was the first of the line and traveled over to America way back before it was officially civilized. The rest of them are his sons (Jubal was his son), and their great grandsons and great great great grandsons, and so forth. there are more than this but these were my personal favs of the group. My number one favorite is Tell. There are more books about him, and i feel like i connect with him best.
Anyhows, they all rock my socks, (and they all like reallllly strong, black, coffee). So i figured it would be appropriate to put them as my coffee mug design.
If u haven't read any of the Sackett series, i must insist you do.

The Sacketts look errr... younger than I pictured them (althouth Tyrel was just 18 at the start of The Daybreakers, my favorite). It's great to see another Sackett fan, I meet too few of them

This is amazing! Its great to find another Sackett fan. Especially one with such a cool coffee mug. Just remember, that coffee won't be fit to drink until a horse shoe can stand up in it. ;D Keep up the great work!

My Dad is the only other person I know who knows who Louis Lamour is. LOL

Sackett Brand is the best Tell novel. Tell Sackett defined badass for me in that book.
