Yeah, I've played it since, still not too fond of either Anchorage or Pitt. I loved Broken Steel and Point Outlook though, those were awesome.

I can see the similarities with it and his line of "________ Awesome"s, but I can assure you it has its roots in terribly done comics from the videogame section of 4chan. Its one of their more persistent memes.

Sorry, I feel like I'm being really annoying but everyone always says that Fallout 3 was "just like Oblivon with guns" like it's a bad thing. Oblivion was a great game and it has a very different "feel" and "tone" from Fallout 3. It was a different game.
The Bethesta company, when they took on the project, wasn't trying to make the exact same game they just made, but they did add the company's unique RPG elements that made Fallout 3 "play" a bit like Oblivion.
There is a different story and mood to Fallout 3 despite how it plays sort of like Oblivion.
I'll say it again: They're different games.
Anyway, I'm so sorry for the rant but hell, somebody's gotta say it.

Nah, that is totally cool. I'm always down for pro Fallout 3 rants. I completely agree with you there. Fallout 3 was a fantastic game on its own merits, and I refuse to judge it based on Black Isle's previous efforts.
I can see why a lot of the Angry Old Men of PC Gaming would shake their fist and beat their chest about why its not right and blah blah blah, but in the end I feel 3 was a natural gameplay evolution to the series. I loved Oblivion, I personally sunk over a hundred hours into it, there was a good reason I enjoyed Fallout 3. Bethesda took alot of things they learned from their Elder Scrolls series, and an obvious love for the previous Fallouts and made a fantastic game with it. Admittedly the story wasn't the best, and some of the characters fell a little flatter than others, but that's minor nitpicking compared to the absolute blast I had roaming the wasteland punching the crap out of everything in sight.
And I honestly do think that Moira Brown is the best NPC a western developer has come up with in a LOOOOOOONG time.

Moira was awesome. I don't know if she was badass, but her charm and gullibility, coupled with a Washu like wonder of science and the local outland life made for some hilarious moments.
God I hope the DLC has more Moira in it. Operation Anchorage was EXTREEEEMELY dissapointing.

Anchorage? I didn't think it was worth $10
Well, it stripped your character and made you play the game the way Bethesda wanted you to. It kinda defeated the design behind the Fallout series and made it a more straightforward action game. It was a neat setting and it was nice to see a new scenario, but I wanted to do more with my character. The Pitt and the Brotherhood are looking quite nice though.

Ha, too bad I heard The Pitt strips your character again as well... sure, they give you a pretty badass weapon and some fairly cool armor, and I can't argue with the whole Thunderdome theme, but it's still forcing you to play the game their way. Broken Steel should be truer to the nature of the game, though... too bad it's probably going to be a while before that one comes out.

Really? I haven't heard any hands on. If so that sucks. I love being able to solve problems my way. At least The Pitt is "real" in the terms of the Fallout world, and not a simulation.

Oh well, at least the next gem may fix things.

Its something that makes more sense if you've seen God Hand Edits before. Its charm lies in its over the top affection towards the game its about and its crudely drawn nature.
That being said, I really did play as an unarmed combat character ala Fist of the North Star. With the help of the Paralyzing Palm perk, I was able to kill Super Mutant Behemoths with my bare hands.
