So before I started this piece I was seeing tons of spam threads over on GameFAQs about who would win in a fight between Alex Mercer from [Prototype] and various other characters. That site tends to attract even more spam than most sites but it has always been that way so I thought nothing of it when I seen the front page of a section filled from top to bottom with nearly identical spam topics. When the VS threads started though there was one that caught my eye. It was between Alex Mercer and Kirby.

Yes Kirby. The pink power stealing puff ball from Nintendo. I started thinking about what might happen if the two characters ever did meet up and Kirby managed to get the jump on Mercer in battle. What would Kirby look like if he managed to absorb Mercer's powers?

Well this is what I think he would look like. I've dressed Kirby in an outfit similar to Mercer's and given him the Blade shape shifting power. I decided to put him on a light in Manhattan which was going to be the main light source until I realized that the whole picture was too dark. Instead I made the sunrise the main source of light and figured that all the windows would reflect light back onto Kirby's face.

The helicopter was so far in the distance I didn't think that it needed any detail. I felt the piece needed a sense of movement and danger so I added the missile.
