Another thing I made on Pinterest. Yes, I'm ranting about this fanbase again, I'm sorry, but it just baffles me. I joined the South Park fanbase for about a year now. I think I can safely say that the South Park fandom is one of the most sensitive fanbases I've ever been in.

It's crazy. How can the most offensive show on American Television have a sensitive fanbase? But not sensitive because of its offense humor, but more so about minor and little things that don't matter much to the show itself.

I'm mainly talking about the headcannons people have, the shippings and how people feel about one of the characters;

"Dude, Kyle is not transgender. Wtf is wrong with you?"

"Uh, Kenny being Pansexual? Have you seen the show?"

"Craig is not bisexual, dummy."

"Cartman does not have a crush on Kyle, they hate each other."

"Kenny is not dating Butters. What the hell?"

Canon is not a law

People can have headcannons that don't match with the show's canon. Personally, I like it when people have unique headcannons for a character. It's interesting to see what unique traits people have for characters. Plus, at the end of the day, people are just having fun, so let them have fun.

Now for the ships, whooo boy...

People treat the ships like it's the main focus of the show. And they will throw a riot if you don't ship the ships they like.

Again, people can have opinions and beliefs that don't have to match the show's canon.
None of those ships aren't hurting you, stop making a big fuse about it.

Why are we being so petty with this? Romance is so minor in South Park. Why are we acting like this is the main focus? Why are we acting so toxic to one another just because they dislike Creek? Or ships K2? Or whatever else that is not Creek or Stendy? Hmm? And why are we saying "kys" just because someone likes a ship you don't? Smh...

It baffles me that some of you guys can watch this whole-ass show and not get offended by it, but when someone doesn't ship Style, Creek, or any ship really, you start to lose your shit.

In conclusion, let people have their fun and stop making a big deal of minors thing.
It will make this fandom less toxic and more approachable.
And always remember that these are fictional characters, not real ones.
