This would be more in Mega Man ZX armor (there are some differences between the MMZ and MMZX armors though), but Weiss is a beauty nonetheless~!

Yes, Weiss is indeed a beauty and for the armor, I though it shouldn't have been much fan service as like Ruby's was as some people say it appeared to be.

But given her fighting style, I don't think the giant wings would be suited for her. She's elegant, swift, and needs to move quickly (her smooth figure also supports this). The wings may not slow her down, but they do leave her open for attack.
It's a simple issue with Ruby having Wolverine-like claws. That doesn't suit her fighting style (it REALLY doesn't fit for Ruby). I mean, if she sucks at hand-to-hand combat, then she'll DEFINITELY suck at slashing at her foes with those claws. She depends on Crescent Rose a LOT.

Well the wings are to give her a flight advantage during a fight and that also have defensive properties as they would be able to go in front of her for a shield.
And for Ruby, the claws are for if she loses Crescent Rose in a fight and they're retractable, so she doesn't always have them out.

Me personally, if I were to give RWBY ZX armor (and ironically, I do have that intention in the far future), I'd stick to giving them abilities that are within their capabilities. Like I said earlier, Weiss is a Rapier-user so her fighting style is more strategic, elegant and focused, so wings is something I wouldn't give her. RWBY would have their abilities enhanced (i.e. Power, Defense, Speed, etc.) as would anyone who Megamerges/ROCK ON and have additional abilities to their arsenal. Ruby would have better control over her Semblance (which means she would be able to lift the likes of Penny without issue) and Weiss could have more uses for her Glyphs and would be able to have much improved focus over her Semblance and Summons. Stuff like that.
