Yang Xiao Long and Pyrrah Nikos stared intensely at each other as the ref read the Β rules for the bout. It was was a mantra Β they could quote along the referee at this point. That wasnβt why they were here. Yang in particular had been looking forward to this fight ever since she joined Foster Fights. She had always admired Pyrrah for her graceful, yet powerful way of fighting. Yang couldnβt wait to see if she could best Pyrrah in boxing, Β Yangβs area of expertise. Pyrrah on the other hand had only recently fallen in love with boxing. She had been trained extensively in both weapon and bare handed combat but hand to hand combat without holds or kicks was fun and exciting to her because she needed to think of ways to counter and defeat her opponents with just her fists. The bell for the second round rang and both fighters left their corners. Yang, who had been outboxed and lost the previous round by a voluminous amount of Β punches landed against her, decided to take her teammates advice. Β She was going to temper herself and wait for Pyrrha to make the first move. Pyrrha, on the other hand , believed in her teammates sound strategy from the beginning, had proven it in the first round and intended to remain with the strategy.
Pyrrha and Yang circled each other, looking for openings and mistakes in foot work. Pyrrha moved first and dashed forward. She was quickly in range of the blonde huntress and swung a left, right hook combo. Yang deftly ducked both the hooks and came up firing a right straight. Pyrrha parried the sharp punch and redirected it at an upward angle. From Yang's awkward position the redhead fired a head rattling uppercut at Yangβs head. Havin
