Description I got really frustrated with the painter rendering of my first annular wing view, so I decided to just goof around in Photoshop for a little bit and blow off some steam, doing stuff in the render that I never really would have thought of going had I been doing a more "serious design".

I was pleasantly surprised by what it yielded. Kind of has that whole 20's/30's deco look I love so much.

It also occurred to me during this render that this could be a neat design for a toy!

I see the Art Deco influence. It put me in mind of the posters for trans Atlantic ocean liners of the era. Very cool

Another deco design? Well, thats no surprise really. It is a strong and easily identifiable design.

Personally, it reminds me of the SS Enterprise XCV-330, a ship from the "Star Trek" Expanded Universe.

Oh wow, awesome! I hadn't been thinking about those ones though. What I had been looking at was modern aircraft, like the one from Bellarus: [link]

Yeah, I doubt many people have, its a pretty miniscule part of the Trek Universe, only seen as a small painting on the wall of the Enterprise's Recreation Room in a blink and you'll miss it scene in Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

That's a really cool plane though. Thanks for sharing.
