Title: Old Tradition, New TwistStarted this last September, just finished it recently becaue it just looked really complicated in my mind (turned out pretty simple). The backgrounds won't be in until ink.
Start guessing who's who.
The kid behind the batman kid is actually a character (very popular one at that).

If it weren't for the octopus tentacles, the right guy would look like Cid Highwind. But also, the pumpkin basket is covering the trenchcoat, so that might be also why.
But yeah, great job. What size paper do you draw on?

Hey what up, I'm still doing the Salla thing btw, just for this summer instead.
This is on regular print paper. In fact, if you ask me paper such as A3 or B1...well, I have no idea what they are. heh.

So... then at what resolution and what dimensions do you work on when touching images up on the computer? I imagine you work with a pretty large canvas settings. I've been getting into the habit of increasing the larger width or height to 2048 pixels, though I imagine that's probably not enough for a lot of high-end stuff.

Well, for scanned stuff, I normally go with DPI. For vector stuff, I scan at 300 and keep it there. For paints...200 most of the time. So I think that would be around 3000-4000 px width. For 3D, it depends on map size I guess, but I normally resize the texture smaller to fit the map.
