FULL VIEW PLEASEOh, Lulu, Lulu, Lulu...for someone as smart as you, how did you not see this one coming?
For those of you that have no idea what I'm talking about, Wiki "Code Geass" or just enjoy the art. For the rest, yay, Code Geass R2's here!
I sincerely hope that this series will have a happy ending and that Lelouch finds his peace. There's been way too much suffering and death as it is. If this series ends with Lelouch or CC dying, it would pretty much be one of the most objectively depressing anime series ever. So, happy ending, please. On the other hand, that traitor can goto hell and burn.

It's rather funny. I have just finished watching the very last episode of Code Geass and then read you Artist Comment. The part about either Lelouch or C.C dying and it made me laugh.
Don't worry I gave nothing away for those who have not seen the episode. At least I hope not

I tried watching this show but the art style kind of turned me off, also the history is too incoherent and ridiculous, even for anime standars. Maybe I will give it a try this second season, but I doubt it, the first few espisodes were just too much like propaganda for me, bad one at that.

Also the main character is too much of a wuss for me to take him seriously, than again this seems to be a pattern in anime now a days.
Do they ever explain why Japan had a democratic republic when it was invade by the British Empire when America is non existent? I mean, anyone knows that without them loosing the war in WWII they would have stayed a fanatic empire.
I think I was just too baffled by the absurb story, trying to apply reason to anime is a bad idea.

It's an alternate universe. The British beat the Romans, but lost to the French. So they ran to the Americas 'cause the American Revolution failed. So the world in CG has 3 superpowers in Britannia, Chinese Federation (Yuan/Ming dynasty didn't collapse), and European Union (French took over?). Plus smaller countries around the world.
And Lelouch is so far from a wuss that I'm not sure if you got past episode 1. In fact, the reason most people like this show is because of Lelouch's fairly unique character (for anime).
But different people, different taste. So nothing wrong with not liking it.

Not really wuss, more like a guy that makes Clay Aiken look rugged and manly, if you know what I mean.
I know its an alternative universe, I just could not handle the irony when they were being portrayed as the victims of imperial opression and massacres.
I mean, this is a country that actually erased lots of events from their history books.
But I don't want to get all political here, I love most of the anime just not the ones full of political critisim. It just comes a hyprocitical and trying to lecturing me on something. Also school life and war crimes, not necesarily a good combination. Gundam was a bit different though.

Like I mentioned before, wasn't that guy friends with the prime minester's son? How did that happened? I mean if it takes place in an alternative reality where America does not exists, and beat them, than Japan should have stayed an imperial nation, right?

Lelouch is from brittania, he's the emporer's son. He and his family were sent to live in japan AKA area 11. After his mother was assaignated and his sister was rendered blind and lame he moved into Suzaku's house to escape his attackers. There they bacame good friends. It tells about it in the picture books. I tried to link to it but it didn't work. Go to anime6.org click on code geass and scroll down to find it.
Also I can kinda see what you mean about Lulu (he's in remidial PE ... and people call him lulu. Despite this everyone who has seen the series likes him and all the girls LOVE him. He's hot.
hope this was informative and sorry for my horrible spelling and grammar. You should try watching it, it's really good once you get into it.
