(strong) Journal Entry 3: (/strong)Seems like they finally got me. In a town full of fleas I guess it was only a matter of time despite my diligence on putting baking soda in my fur... looks like Iโll have to try some other means of getting rid of these pests! And on my first week being here too... T^T

Danka gives Ari a warm hug and hearing her purring makes her purr too. Considering they're practically strangers to each other, the hug was incredibly comfortable. Danka gave Ari a little of back scratch too; considering the flea situation, she was almost certain Ari could use a back scratch.
ย Danka: Oh, my name is Danka, by the way. I believe we didn't have a proper introduction, blimey...

The backscratch was much appreciated! And she was sure to give her a return scratch by her ear too as a thanks. Kind of a "you'll scratch my back I'll scratch yours" situation.
Ari: T-thank you! And oh, you're right! We haven't been properly introduced! I'm Ari Kat! You can just call me Ari! It's a pleasure to meet you Danka! Especially a fellow cat!
Ari laughed, finding it funny they'd not even told each other their names yet. But of course, any catastrophe such as fleas is sure to bring feline friends together!

Danka laughed with Ari, thinking around the same - how she didn't expect to find a friend in such a tough time. Time, she'd probably be too focused on being itchy and finding a solution before a doctor comes to town rather than looking too close at fellow villagers facing the same problem.
ย Danka: It's nice to meet you too, Ari. There's actually quite a lot of cats around! My neighbour is one too.
She stopped for a moment to scratch behind the other ear rapidly, then shook her head, visibly annoyed by the flea that just bit her.
ย Danka: I swear, these little--
ย Danka: Sorry. Anyway, I was wondering...
ย Danka: Did you try to fish or catch bugs yet? It's a common activity around here and I thought, maybe we could go bug catching together someday?

Ari's ears perked and she grinned, getting excited at the idea of bug catching with a friend.
Ari: I haven't tried it out yet but I definitely want to! A-And it would be really fun if we could go together! After all, the more the merrier right?
It was enough to distract herself from the itching too!
Ari: Besides! I just got myself a bug net! I'm more than excited to give it a whirl! Want to exchange numbers?
Ari took out her pink phone with a cat charm on it and offered it to Danka. She had been collecting villager numbers so that she could do fun activities together in the future with friends!

ย Danka: It really is fun! And I heard there are about 72 types of bugs appearing in Lilypad so I try to catch them all. I've got photos of the ones I managed to catch.
Danka took out her own phone in a purple case, unlocked it and scrolled through her gallery, more to show how many she's caught so far than to show the photos itself. There was at least 40 photos of different bugs!
The cat took Ari's phone and typed her number in it. Once she was done, she raised the phone to have a better look at the charm, smiled lightly and gave the phone back.
ย Danka: I plan to spend most of the Fall on the fields, but we could go catch bugs around trees and flowers too. Your call, blimey!
ย Danka: Though, you can find spiders around trees and I'm not really fond of them...

Ari's eyes lit up as she saw all the different bugs that Danka had caught! There were so many different bugs to find! How exciting! She noticed that Danka had liked the charm on her phone and had to smile too... but at the mention of spiders Ari's eyes widened and her ears drooped too.
Ari: Those spiders can get so big and they're scary! So many eyes and legs and... aaah, I think I'll stick to the fields for the first time too.
Ari: What I really want to catch is a butterfly or two! Or maybe a cricket! They're so fun to chase! Oh this is going to be just splendid, tch!
She did a little dance with her feet and churred happily, just so excited. Once she had gotten a hold of herself enough to compose herself once more she smiled at Danka, accepting her phone back.
Ari: I'm free anytime you're down for bug catching! I don't have too much planned being new and all. It's nice to have free time though!
