I frequently post progress pictures of all the plushies I make.
This is a custom Vinyl Scratch/DJ PON-3 plushie from the show: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She is 18" tall shown with an iPod touch for size comparison.
She is made of a soft snow-white velour with a mane and tail made out of super soft minky that feels incredibly to touch and huggle with ^^. Her eyes and cutie mark are both machine embroidered with Sulky thread. And yes, I did choose to go with her fanon eye color; I think it looks better and has a more appealing contrast against her coat. ^^
This is my very first full plushie, and she has consumed 25+ hours of my free time, with very little prior sewing experience. She comes with her own glasses that are removable, and that truly makes her one of a kind! ^^

Well, you have to have a pattern to make a plushie. There's plenty of free pony patterns that you can search for.

Yeah, I kind of wonder that one too. I've seen many plush makers too but what I'm concerned is the inside, I have 2 non-pony plushes which the inside is soft like a bath sponge,
So I wonder what's yours made? Soft sponge or foam rubber? I also asked Whitedove as well but I forgot what's the inside made of. Because I'm concern on the outside may get stained, especially on bright colored fabrics and whites can turn brown if they don't get washed.

Well, what I did was to test its density and feel how soft is it. The 2 girl plushes I got are so soft but it can't stand on its own whereas the fox girl one could, despite having no metal wires, it can still stand nicely for a few seconds before falling down. I've been told by the dobby ladies and said that the fox doll better be taken with extreme care, she even said that dry wash can't do much unless she suggests that the skin or cloth of the doll can be removed while the foam inside has to be thrown away.
Maybe I should consult a doll specialist one day, if there really is one.
