Actualy there is alot of thing that can be simplifyed to reduce polycount to 5500 or even 5k

Wow- that's some efficient polygon use. Also, he looks pretty gnarly- I like it.

If you don't mind me asking, how many maps did you use, and at what resolution? I'm most curious about how many pixels you needed to get that kind of definition on the normals.

There is a 2 materials on bjody and armor. each material is a difuse map, specular,glossnes and normal map. Alpha channel on diffuse map for fur opacity. in this picture each 2048 (original size). in game engine we are compressing it to 1024 and even 512 almost without loosing quality

Nice. Yeah, I prefer to use smart compression from higher quality images, as well- it's just easier to get the details right that way. Thanks for the info, that's pretty impressive.
