Dude, this shot is sick. Nicely done. I love the angle. Way to make an ugly building look cool. I get to stare at it all day whilst waiting for my chariot... I mean the marta bus.

Love this angle... nice capture...
I don't like to crop or full around with my pictures that much either, so no worries, you're not alone in that world!
:-D

...dang, the way you have this set up, with the building acting as the balance, it looks like he could just roll back off the tree and right up the building. Really nice shot. Love the angle.

this is an excellent photo! i think the placement of the building and it being straight - really adds to perspective shifts throughout the image (the curved tree, the curved/motion of the bike)

dude, really nice shot!
did you burn the bottom of the frame? I don't think it suits the shot

Zlatty In reply to trailstar [2007-01-07 20:28:52 +0000 UTC]
burn no
i dont burn stuff
i did something along the lines of:
raw editor => color calibration + contrast + exposure + saturation + white balance
the bottom was a pretty dark shadow and the contrast just took away the tiny little details in it
i appreciate the critique

ah!
how come you don't use dodge/burn? Its quite a valuable tool, when used properly.

I just dont, i dont like to edit my pictures too much
hell i dont even crop, so why should i burn
maybe someday, but not now
keeping it simple makes me try to get better angles and take better photos
