If you think about it & look at the grand scope (like the vast backgrounds) of the levels in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Angel Island is HUGE! More like an floating continent...

Damn! This is amazing!!! I didn't even notice the Death Egg in the background because of all the lava and awesome lighting effects. Even the Death Egg is nicely detailed.
