Description
This is TechnoTron, a private company owned by a few powerful industrials. It main activities are focussed on research & development for high-tech weapons. Their clients are spread all over the world and moon, but the biggest demand comes from the powerful nations on Planet Earth. This is their head office. It is situated on the moon because they felt the Earth wasn't safe enough anymore.You got the money? TechnoTron got the weapons!
I can't remember how many hours I've spend on this, but it were a few
I made this for Pixelmoon . This piece is different then what you're used from me, because I put in some animation. I wanted to animate more but I got fed up with it
If you look closely you can see that I submitted the tank already in a different deviation. I changed the colors and put a different turret on.Ok now for some technical info...

You can see this techno style takes lot of work, each machine looks very good and very nice detailed, Reminds me of a Starcraft building.
Why is the that little space dude on the right got his gun out and is standing like that, is there some attack going on there

thanks for the comment and fav, if you look closely those aren't the same guys as the rest, they have different colors on their gorgles (sp?), they are trying to steal valuable corporate information from inside the base

Ahh, that clears it up very nicely, i saw another comment that said something about invaders but since i couldn't define a difference between em so i wasn't sure

Absolutely amazing work there my friend, I especially like the animated glowing 'veins' so to speak lol. The crashed alien saucer is a nice idea too, I was thinking of putting something like that on Pixel Moon but I'm a bit lazy these days lol. I can see all of the detail that went into creating this piece -and I enjoying looking for little 'easter egg moments' such as the aliens who've knocked out a guard and taken some suits lol great.

It's tough for me to comment on every piece you submit because they always seem so impressive, yet I come to expect that from you at this point. This is no exception of course, and it's exactly your style. Smooth, clean, and detailed. My kind of isometric pixel art.
I love the color. That light blueish green all over really gives me a futuristic / techno feeling, especially with the slight animation of the items on the main building. The light beige contrasts well with it also. Your little droids and robots are great along with the tank and the little figures. What I love is the little spaceship that has crashed into the moon. Well pixelled for something that is not a normal shape.
I really don't know what else to say other than the obvious. It's well detailed, has great shapes and colors, looks good with shadowing and highlighting, and looks like it belongs on a moon. Shall I say,

About the colors, I kinda like to stick to a few (mostly 2) colors to make an entire piece, it keeps things connected and shows it as a whole in a big scene. I had my fingers crossed for the crashed spaceship, as I didn't really know how it would turn out at first. Plus I'd break the gray/pasty color balance with the green alien. I think it worked out ok in the end.

The only thing that could make this better is if you animated the invaders (bottom right) so the one looking out looked left and right.

Zoanoid, this is one of the greatest pixelations I've ever seen, it's near perfection. I agree with what everyone else has said. Then, I found something wrong with it. But I was wrong, you were right. All the shadows are perfect. I love the aliens dragging the guard off. It's wonderful.

Dude, this is why I admire you. You pulled a truly outstanding pixelation here. The details, the colours that were used, the architecture, the animations. I love it all!
By the way, I noticed that in those columns that are in the outer part of the building, there are plenty of jagged borders. I think it's worth trying to apply some manual anti-aliasing and maybe even use colored borders instead of black (all that except for the ones that are at the corners, anti-aliasing those may not be a wise idea).

Jagged borders you say? I'll anti-alias and use more colored outlines next time I do pixelart. I probably used too many black outlines in this piece. I hardly anti-alias anything, sometimes with sprites but that's rare.

Another great, large iso scene with loads of depth in it in terms of characters and environment. I love the way you put a small story in there w/ that alien being surrounded on the top-left. Makes me wonder what the story is behind it .. and that's the sort of things I love about your work.
