I studied Piranacon's appearance in the 1988 toy commercials really, really closely to try to arrive at the most accurate color model I could for him. Now, I know that Nautilator is not pink. I know Skalor has some other colors on him. This seriously is how Piranacon looks in animation, though. (Did you cry foul when the wheels on the Constructicons turned green for their robot modes? Transformers are made of magical color-change metal.)

Piranacon's color scheme actually did change slightly between his two commercial appearances (the Seacons toy commercial, plus he appeared in Doubledealer's toy commercial as well) but I reconciled them as best I could.

Note that this character has little or nothing to do with King Poseidon as he appears in the Super God Masterforce cartoon in Japan. Different character design, different color scheme, different rules.
