I was determined to color at least one part wrong on every one of the Seacons. Seriously, I don't think there's a single Sunbow color model that conforms precisely to the Hasbro toy's color scheme.Luckily, the early version of Nautilator that appears in the 1988 Transformers pack-in product catalog has a grey head, rather than the black head of the finished toy, so I already had a canonical wrongness precedent to work with.
Isn't it goofy how his weapon mode is basically just his robot mode with the lobster armor covering his head? You can see his little feet and fists and everything!

Nicely coloured. I understand what you mean by colouring in parts "wrong" in the sense things did oddly change on certain parts of a character in a episode and it didn't make much sense visually given the colour palette we clearly see fropm a character consistently. Now I look back on it, I don't mind it at all since it makes more sense now as a way of simplifying them when being animated or just perhaps some kind of particular reason that only the creators would know.
Overall I think you did a good approach to the colouring scheme!
