Description This is my interpretation of Harvey Pekar, writer and star of the ongoing 'American Splendor', as well as the film 'American splendor'. His nose is kinda off, but oh well. C+C always appreciated.

Oh, so that's who it is. I clicked on this thinking it looked familiar. You're right about the nose. That's what through me off.

Excellent! Harvey does have some pretty gnarly eyebrows. They should have a fight with Martin Scorsese's eyebrows. They could put it on pay-per-view. Heh. Anyway, nice work on this, it looks great.

The face look excellent, I don't know the man but you seem to have hit the nail on the head with this one. That ear looks overly defined though--but then again, I don't know what he really looks like so I don't know if that's right or wrong. Great work!

heh, pretty good, although he looks downright evil there which is of course weird to see

Well i don't know what he looks like so i couldn't tell ya if you hit it on the head...but it looks damn good to me. Great detail on the shirt. Only thing to change maybe would be the collar...in the back it should probably go up and curve around the neck a lil bit more. AMAZING detail on the face! go you!

Yeah, I messed up on the collar, by the time I noticed the mistake I couldn't go back. Ah well, such is life. Thanks anyway.

I love your heavy lines in drawings like this. You've done a number that are kinda similar and the details in the faces are great!

Have you thought about doing a pic of Tommy Lee Jones?

Drawing of Tommy Lee Jones...Interesting. In MIB togs or not?

As a rabid MIB fan... I'd say the black suit but he's played so many roles in movies, it's sick. lol

He is a cowboy so either way. That suit from Batman as 2 face was.... bizarre.

I've also seen him sporting Colonial american duds.

...every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp-dressed man though.... hehe.

Hey, thanks! Def. check out some of Pekar's books, very personal writing, thought-provoking at times.
