My Little Pony: Friendship is MagicTwilight Sparkle
And Dusk Shine! (The first time I saw this name I said "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAI seewhatchadidthar" out loud. On a quiet bus.)
Twilight's forehair things get cut in the Spring and gradually grow to her shoulder's in the Winter.
Twilight seems a complete stranger to "romance" or just "boys" (and so the opposite could be said for DS). I bet the two would constantly screw up because they'd take all their relationship advice from Cosmo like magazines and the hilarity would ensue. Eventually they'd become comfortable by exploring their similar passions and possibly developing into more.
But I feel like they'd be struck by a weird sense of vanity upon first meeting. "He's/She's so handsome/beautiful!"

I've always taken to the studded forehead thing rather than the horn with the humanized unicorns, but that doesn't keep these from being awesome.
(Although I was afraid that Dusk had a bad experience with a taffy puller or something :\)

Twilight Sparkle was carrying a bunch of quills, paper scrolls, ink, books and other nerdy stuff in a cart. At the sidelines, Dusk Shine was reading a book called 'Romance for Dummies'. Other books piled up at his side were 'How to approach girls', 'Everything you need to know: Girls', etc. "Should I help her? Maybe I should just keep reading. AARRGG! This book doesn't solve anything" he said to himself. While this dilemma was going through his head, Twilight sparkle had things going through her head, too. She was so busy, she didn't notice the rock right in her way. She tripped and all of the contents scattered. She tried to compose herself. She picked up her things, trying not to embarrass herself more. "I can't believe I'm saying this but, SCREW THIS BOOK! I'M GOING TO DO THIS MY WAY!" He ran towards her and helped her. "T-th-thank--" "Don't say anything, I'm doing this because it's my duty" Dusk Shine rudely interrupted. *How rude, but he is kinda sweet, and cute* Twilight said to herself as she blushed.
