Ok, this is a slight re-design on the Mutoids from Blake's 7.Mutoids were modified humans (usually female) that were bred to serve the Terran Federation. Presumably Mutoid is short for Mutant Android, but I don't recall that ever being mentioned in the show. They exist only to serve.
Anyway, Mutoids required no sleep and gained nourishment through tubes of "blood serum" that were plugged into their chest. Opponents of Mutoid modification called them vampires. In an emergency, if blood serum was not available, all Mutoids were equipped with a retractable hypodermic syringe attachment with which they could extract blood from living creatures.

Good question. Maybe they process it into some kind of serum used to acquire mind-control over the females that they capture to convert into other mutoids.
That sort of theme is that very sort of thing I like to do photo manipulations about (if you haven't already guessed). One of the toughest things though with doing manips like that is finding enough pictures of female faces that are usable. It's not like I can go up to a girl and say "You've got a nice face. Do you mind if I take some portraits, so that I can make some images where it looks like you are an evil cybernetic female?" Most girls are put off by that sort of thing if you know what I mean.

I read on your page that you do art exchanges and such. If you would ever like to be in one of my photo manipulations as some kind of mutoid or other kind of cybernated / robotisized woman, just let me know. I'm always in need of new females to feature.

We don't actually have to do either. If you are simply interested in being featured in one of my manips that would be fine too.
I'm like you though. I seriously doubt I would have time to work on any new images until early summer. But come June or so, I will then have much more time available to work on new stuff.
The hardest thing to doing new images is finding enough visual elements that will work together.

I finally got a look at these characters in a video on YouTube. I have to admit that the outfit you have depicted is certainly sexier than what they actually wore.
Maybe there could actually be a corps of female mutoids that actually go around capturing humans and harvest their blood and...well..another fluid.
