Description
*VideogameRoo asked me if I had a reference sheet for Luth and I realised that I actually didn't have one that didn't make me want to throw my eyeballs into the sun, so here we are.Lutheus is my mental construct of a daemon and because I'm super boring he is generally dressed up in the form that metaphorically represents my personality, which happens to be the binturong. He's not blessed with the most interesting of designs, which is a shame because binturongs come in all sorts of beautiful markings and colours. But alas I am dull and this has been the way I've projected him for quite a while now.
Binturongs have tipped hair all through their coat which is the cause of most of their markings. The more tipped hairs in an area the lighter it looks. This is a real pain to colour :/
It occurs to me that about five years ago I started talking to Luth, so hurrah, happy fifth congealing-into-existence time period.

Mine is Soterios the female Kestrel, well she takes a form of a Kestrel when she wants to keep an eye on me from above. She also takes the form of a marten or an ermine. As a Marten she is red-gold like Pan was in the end, as a Kestrels she has two lines diagonally gin upwards from the corners of her eyes to the nack over her head, basically forming a v but you can't see the point. As an Ermine she is whote with a redgold stripe near the end of her tail, just before the black tip. In all formms she has sapphire blue eyes.

I like how all of the forms I project are super derpy versions of your forms XD Mustelids are always pretty. But yeah, I'm terrible at projecting and usually don't put this sort of detail into Luth's form when I'm visualising it. I like to think these are his markings, and I draw him consistently, but I tend to project weight more than visuals anyway, so he's usually just a large black hairy blob.

It's ironic how Lutheus is a derpy version of Soteria. It's as if we were meant to be friends.

It seems Soteria has switched permanently to an Arctic Ermine except when we go out then she shifts to the form of an American Kestrel. She also has decided her name is Soteria permanently.

Mine is Soterios the female Kestrel The American Kestrel. Ske takes form of a Marten or an Ermine as well but her main form is a Kestrel.

Seems so.
Then again, if you ask me about thylacines or numbats I may not give the 100% unbiased version.

Pfft, rubbish. Your binties are adorable. Plus, I've apparently been drawing binturongs for five years, so that's a rather long time
Ugh I just found my last uploaded-to-dA reference for him (I had one in between which was bad enough) and it is so bad oh no D:

I think that wanting to burn your computer when you see old art is probably a sign of marked improvement
And seriously, I've seen you improve over that time and it's awesome c:
