I've wanted to do this meme for a long time.I think the improvement shows. Instead of making it detailed with the shading, it looks better simplified. I'm kinda sad that the "before Delibird" looks very deformed D:
Let's hope I can improve even more!

can't say. they are both nice styles. If i wanted something soft i'd prefer the right, but if i wanted a BAM! then i'd prefer the left. They both look great

I just feel that there wasn't much attention to the light source in the first one. It also has no balance. I guess it was a failed attempt of trying to look dynamic.

Haha, my gallery is pretty chaotic.
I looked through your gallery. I really like the colors and the subject matter. There is room for improvement with the anatomy. Practice from real life human bodies help(I'm not so good myself), but you'll find out how everything is placed. Frontal face proportions are in correct place, but I feel that when your characters faces are turned, they lose that balance. Anime is a very hard thing to draw in my opinion, but with a lot of practice it'll look better where everything is placed. Please don't take this as an insult because it truly isn't. I want you to take this constructive critique and think about it when you draw. I believe that you have a lot of potential to make beautiful illustrations with your current imagination, but with hard work you'll surely make that happen with full potential.

I was never a fan of the guassian blur shading style, probably because I've used it waaay too much!
