there's a blender pencil??

this was made years ago on Photoshop CS3. Just by manually blending the strokes together.

thanks for your interest.

Hi!
I didn't even know what the smudge tool was when I painted this, so no. Just a lot of manual blending of the colours.

Hi! Sorry for a really late reply to this, but what do you mean by manual blending? I thought the smudge tool WAS the way you blend things? haha

This is awesome! Do you paint above or below the sketch layer?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

zoestarlite In reply to kamaki-chan [2013-09-24 20:23:09 +0000 UTC]

Initially below. Then I merge some of the layers and paint on top.

what tools do u use to smooth things out?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

zoestarlite In reply to ElecoMoroco [2009-10-14 13:56:49 +0000 UTC]

to smooth things out? the technique i use for coloring is just using a pressure sensitive pen. If i have a dark colour next to a lighter color, i will use the eyedropper to select a color between those two and stroke it between them.
hope that helps
there are lots of tutorials on dev i think
