And where else would you see a vampire, a werewolf a human and... whatever Elias is, together as friends? Only ina Zoe picture, that's where!Characters from my books, from left to right:
Taylor Sutcliffe - Ex Circle agent turned bit part actor working for Supernatural TV LIVE ( a cable channel a bit like Living) who also happens to be a vampire. (He doesn't appear till Book 3, which I'm now writing)
Dr Darren Rivers - Archeologist, werewolf, and overprotective friend of Celeste. She proves to him that he's not all bad on the nights of a full moon eventually and they end up being quite the fighting force.
Celeste Reignsway- Raised by vampires and the bearer of the amulet Vichalace - as well as a number of trendy outfits that change every time I draw her.
Elias Darkley - Celeste's undead love interst, who can turn into a demon, and the true guardian of Vichalace.
WOO! Supernatural Goodness!
WOOP!

am i the only one who notices that darrens eyes always change from pic to pic. sometimes they are orange, sometimes they are blue...

They change in the books as well. They are mostly blue, but if he's angry or after he's turned they are amber, but that's not always the case. Well spotted though x

It's called The Amulet of Vichalace and the second one, The Vampire's Daughter should be out very soon, just finishing off the final edits. There's going to be four books in the series

Dr Darren Rivers was always my favorite character. I like make characters that are a little arseholeish--you know--with heart. Spinoff-y things were to happen, he would fill the number one slot.

The shadowing on Darren's fur looks different from the way you usually do it, but that soft shadow on his muzzle and the blend in the back between his fur and Celeste's hair is a really great effect. Also liking that soft light transition on Taylor's pants.
I definitely need to draw you with Kiba sometime!

Photoshop has been my savior, but so has Manga Studio. Makes inking soooo much easier and smoother it makes photoshop look like you're using a crayon!

amazing to say the least but one things nagging at me and tearing at my jeans like a kid begging for an ice cream
what about the eyes most of the time there very vivid most people make them a bright yellow or you know animal like
it isnt a complaint its a compliment
not everyones the same and this is yet more profe that diversity is the spice of life

I draw his eyes like that as I want to show his human side is still there, every time I draw them more animal-like he just doesn't look like Darren to me. I guess it's because I have a picture in my head of how I want him to look. He's supposed to have amber eyes that can sometimes be blue if he's really down or in human form. I guess that's just how I do it

LOL - it is mentioned in bk2 when she goes into The Circle that most of the coats on the coat pegs are hers. Darren just has the one coat for all occasions and really doesn't get it, but when your other coat's a fur one, I suppose that's two really heh! Glad you liekd it *hugs*
