A mockup screenshot of a 2 player split-screen game where two wizards wander around picking up items to aid them do battle against each other, laying traps for each other and generally trying to outdo each other. I can really see this being turned into a game, and a fun one at that. The animation is nice, and the whole scene feels smooth. The trees could use a little more detail, but it doesn't detract from the rest.

Recharging your mana. Other things displayed are the number of potions (mana rechargers), keys you have collected (to open the various locked doors etc) and your score.

Nice colours and so forth, but I think the grass tiles don't look iso enough and the side bar is rather boring.
Perhaps more detail on the trees too? They seem to stand out compared to other things.

Very nice work, clean and crisp shading and drawing. Nice idea for a game, i like those glowing pots of gold and the water looks pretty cool too.

Not the best effort you was putting into yet
But the game would be really great. I loved that game on Speccy. Feud as far as I remember... Have you played?

Err. no.. wasnt even aware of it. Perhaps it could have been presented a bit better, but it was built up by creating tilesets and then using them to create the scene as opposed to just drawing an image. By that point, I didnt have any more time to devote to creating lots of variation tiles etc. Had to prune down a fair few colours too. Weird limit to choose - 40, but heh 40 is better than 32.

hehe yeah and worse than 64 for sure
And I know what's tileset That's something that differs your submission from ~blind-ice 's for example. It's more about actual game screenshot but I still wish it were more tiles for grass especially.
Please more magic!
ps: I found Atari version of Feud: [link]

That was mostly my inspiration. I was going to do more of a spy vs spy type mockup with platformer views, but then opted for an isometric design.

The game concept is a little cliche in my humble opinion, but it's well executed and believable as a video game.

Cool....
reminds me of that game extreme violence on the Amiga, although that wasn't wizards, it was two guys running around with guns shooting each other
anyway I like the colours you have used... a addition of a map would be good but....
nice work

i don't like the "menu" style you have. everything else though is very well down. as for the menu maybe add more detail besides just shading each section..

Firstly, what a great idea for a game. The pixel art is coming out well.
You got the old school comic- serious look going down, awesome.

Really nice work, I like how you put the big health bar at the bottom of each person's screen and the white outline of the wizards really allows them to stand out. I love all the items and I think it is a great idea for a game. Teriffic Job!

K now that ive read my comment, it doesnt make any sense. I wasnt specific enough. By the animations and the transition use i mean the layout of how you organized this.
Better? sorry bout that.
