Sonic isn't annoyed by Amy, he just doesn't like being touchy feely all the time. but he does love her as evidenced by him telling her he loves her in the Japanese version of Sonic X.
Canon means official, or what really happens in a series. The old tv shows were american made and had nothing to do with Sega or Sonic Team. For example, you wouldn't consider a fanfiction to actually happen in the Sonic series since they stray so far from canon as they werent made by the creators, conversly since the american cartoons and comics werent made by the creators. while the games and sonic X were made by Sega, Sonic Team, Sonic Project, and TMS Entertainment so that makes it canon and official. Plus Sally doesn't appear in the games while Amy does. Sally is the most awful Sonic character made.

I love was in the Japanese and the Frech version. Thus that makes it the canon version. I'll never leave you is only in the 4kids English version which isn't the official version.

Yeah but later on in season 3 Amy tells Cosmo and Cream that he said that he loves her. Plus nothing besides that would have made Amy that happy, plus he returns her hug with a big smile on his face after giving her a white rose which means love at first site. It's pretty obvious that Sonic does love Amy.

Amy has saved Sonic's life multiple times, look it doesn't matter how cool the comics make Sally look the fact remains that Sally wasn't created by Sonic Team so she doesn't really exist in the Sonic series.

Amy is Sonic's canon girlfriend, Sally isn't canon. The comics aren't made by Sonic Team thus they aren't canon. Only the games and Sonic X are made by Sonic Team thus only the games and Sonic X are canon.
