Hm... I'm not sure eyelashes have the same color as as the hair/mane of an individual.
I know eyebrows do if we're being anatomically correct and I do notice you did that.
Even if the eyelashes are the color of the hair, they never appear to be so.
I also had trouble identifying Derpy, even with all the signs. (What hinted towards it being Derpy was the basket of muffins, the title, the hair color and the coat color.)
What put me off is that I didn't automatically identify it as female. It registered as male.
This might have to do with the nuzzle, although I wouldn't count that as a case since I don't even follow that. I otherwise really don't know how I came to that conclusion.
Don't beliece you'dd see stars when the sun is still out, but this is your piece, I don't know if it was intentional.
If it isn't for that, everything else is perfect and you got yourself a watcher.
