If there are people looking for male characters to fangasm over, the vast majority of games are led by either male protagonists, or have a gender option. There's no shortage of guys. According to this article (bit.ly/2GWvJfM ) in E3 2016 only 3% of the games shown onstage were led by a female protagonist.
Representation is important, and if I was a girl growing up with so few relatable female heroes, I wouldn't be complaining about not getting enough of my favorite boys.

Yeah. It's just Agent 8, because it was too difficult for me to draw the Squid Sisters and Off The Hook, and the rest of the details.
I wanted to make it look like how you did it. The way I requested it. But I couldn't do it...
