HAHAHA!!! I was *definitely* one of those children! The second I saw her I thought "Damieeeennnnn..." But that must be his devilish little sister who even frightens hell's toughest demons!!! 
You know, she looks like something directly out of a Tim Burton movie... it has to be her eyes and her hair!!! I love that dress, too, almost like her family *tried* to dress her up nicely, but... they couldn't handle her
The horns and blood make such a cool touch, and that background is so frightening yet cool... almost like she's sitting on her victims' bones!
