zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-07-21 15:17:56 +0000 UTC]

she's not that tall..and her features are extremely childlike

that said, the point of brave was to be a movie focused on ladies without prominent male characters, and wasn't supposed to be about romance at all? :0 (which has led some critics to think she is a lesbian ._.)

well it is a pixar movie, what do you spect ?

yah, ladies with out prominent males
wat, i think the point of the movie is about family
and teenager problems with family

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-07-22 00:11:43 +0000 UTC]

but also ladies, because there are a lot of movies focusing on men without important ladies, so now it's time for a movie focusing on ladies without important men

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

avatarmex In reply to zombieless [2012-07-22 00:18:26 +0000 UTC]

almost all the disney princess movies are focused on ladies

btw i was watching spiderman series from 1990

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-07-22 01:54:43 +0000 UTC]

that's not what i mean. yes, there are quite a few movies with lady protagonists, but i'm talking about ones where ALL the important characters are women. The disney movies are a horrible example because men are still main characters (princes) and they tend to convey an idea that women need men and their love to be happy, and it often creates unrealistic expectations and unhappiness in young girls!

in brave, there is no love interest or prominent man, etc. etc.

avatarmex In reply to zombieless [2012-07-22 02:07:29 +0000 UTC]

well usually those movies made for kids, they will not enter in so special themes as.. i dunno lesbianism, adults could get mad

i thougth she was interested in that he-man parody lol

zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-07-22 02:42:59 +0000 UTC]

who knows? but its really dumb that people are getting angry thinking she's a lesbian just because there's no main love story in a movie

well outside that
some people will be happy cuz they can expand outside the stablished limits

but i think thats too much for a kids movie

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-07-23 01:08:16 +0000 UTC]

...what, the idea that a girl does not need romance to be happy, or lesbians?

imo gay and lesbian people are fine in a kids movie

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

avatarmex In reply to zombieless [2012-07-23 02:12:18 +0000 UTC]

i dunno

and lots of people and parents dont believe that
mostly because of conservasionism and kids.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-07-23 02:23:17 +0000 UTC]

yeah i guess so

though i mean whats the point? it doesn't really hurt kids to show gays and lesbians. if you're gay, you're gay, you don't just become gay by seeing material that has gay people in it. that would be like gay people not wanting to see movies with straight people in it because they think their straightness would rub off on them.

also, kids media get away with a TON of dark things. its not like kids are truly innocent.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

avatarmex In reply to zombieless [2012-07-23 02:34:54 +0000 UTC]

well i think it will be .. you know, weird for kids because they dont know anything about that, and some parents dont like it at all

back in my days, kids where truly innocent

but im not refering to kids of 11-16
im talking about 4-10 years

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-07-23 03:11:33 +0000 UTC]

...isn't it better that way that they learn about it? i mean, homosexuality is posited as 'weird' in society, and that is part of the reason it is looked down upon. also it would give hope to young children who are gay!

kids are never truly innocent. when i was those ages, kids were already talking about killing and violence and gore and sex. children are much more perceptive to adult problems than people believe.

actually, this idea that kids are innocent is what causes parents to obstruct proper sex education for their children, never minding that chances are, their children will have sex anyway. this accounts for a staggering amount of unplanned pregnancies and contracted diseases, unfortunately, and teaches kids to be uncomfortable with their bodies.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

avatarmex In reply to zombieless [2012-07-23 03:27:54 +0000 UTC]

yes it is better, but in a good school or something
in a movie suddenly, it will be like shocking

i dont like kids, they are like little assholes, but when you try to educate him, human rights destroy everything

well, sexual maduration is about 18-21
young kids should not get into that
that early

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-07-23 03:31:06 +0000 UTC]

a lot of kids start having sex at 13-16; its good to warn them

...it's not really shocking? i mean, its not like it would be played for shock. just approach it as you would approach a straight romance. i mean, with all the stuff that happens in movies; isn't it okay if a character happens to like someone of the opposite sex? people don't sit in a theater and go HOLY SHIT THAT MALE CHARACTER LOVES.....A WOMAN?!?!?!?!?!?!!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

avatarmex In reply to zombieless [2012-07-23 03:37:11 +0000 UTC]

i think it will be weird in a disney movie

This was the weirdest comment branch I have ever seen.

LIST TIME.

1. A girl can like whoever the hell she wants to like. Even if that somebody is nobody at all. She doesn't need to like anyone.

2. What century are we in? Seriously.

3. "almost all the disney princess movies are focused on ladies"

.. um. All Disney "Princess" movies, by title, are focused on the female gender. PRINCESS.

4. There is nothing wrong with LBGT culture! What's wrong is people ostracizing a biological normality that occurs in hundreds of species. People are born straight, or gay, or bisexual, or pansexual. You thinking that it would place 'shock value' into a movie is just a sign of the times - and of bigoted behavior on your part. If anything, it makes the homophobic shock you are so clearly exhibiting less later in life, as people would come to accept it more.

I, for one, would freaking love a lesbian Disney princess. And I'm a straight guy.

More power to anybody who is comfortable with who they are.

avatarmex In reply to Serentic [2012-07-31 06:12:14 +0000 UTC]

i must ask, how old was the coment or wat
i dont remember anyting
yeah girls are cute
21 or 22 century, i dont remember
dafuq is lbgt culture ?
i think it is the homosexual people
i think thats normal, but not in normal conditions
is like canibalism, it is normal in a lot of species, but it happend in different conditions, i will ask human rights to make cannibalism legal
yeah, i think if disney make it, it will be cute
yeah.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Serentic In reply to avatarmex [2012-07-31 15:45:19 +0000 UTC]

.. you can't remember anything a week back? Look at the dates. You could also just go back and read your own conversation.

Where did I say anything about girls being cute?
'LGBT' = Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender
You thought right! Congratulations.
What are normal conditions and why is something that's normal not 'normal' under them?

.. did you REALLY just compare varying sexualities to eating members of the same species? Wow. Okay; cannibalism happens in different groups of animals. It is normal for a lot of species. Homophobia occurs in one. That's not normal.

How can you ask 'human rights' to do anything? Human rights are a system of beliefs, not any sort of entity.

And I was thinking progressive, not cute. Cute can be incredibly misogynistic, which you are.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

avatarmex In reply to Serentic [2012-07-31 17:57:34 +0000 UTC]

sorry, i have some problems to remember things on the internet, like convertations
you didnt say anything about girls being cute, i did
well, for an example a forest, and a fox, in normal conditions the fox will make his home in a place with food resourses and water, maybe females
so, a not normal condition will be something like will modify that enviroment
like humans hunting and exterminating his food, he will starve or maybe do canibalism on other fox, or eat anything to survive, or in homosexual case, i dont really know much about the topic, but maybe it could be the lack of females

well, i though that il will be a nice compare because both eat and reproduction are survival actitudes, about homophobia, as humans we are cursed with self-awareness
and that makes humans have high level comprention about things, also theres people againts cannibalism because it goes againts their morality, theres no such thing like that in animals, just survival

i thought there was a society, of course society is not the word im looking for, i forgot the name of the..thing, you know la onu or the unicef

well yes, it will be very progressive, you know the day that people will accept that, we will take a step forward as a society, i dont know whats misogynistic
*googles it*
wut, i dont hate girls men, i love them, im nothing agains them D:
*sorry my bad english*

holy shitfuck what is this trainwreck

...i don't think you know much about homosexuality. it's not brought on by environmental changes or extremes; it just....happens? people are born, and they go though sexual maturity(or even before that) and they're like..oh i like people of the same gender/sex/all genders. that's pretty much how it happens with animals too. also why would you compare cannibalism to homosexuality...of course people are against cannibalism; it hurts other people.

also, you don't have to hate women to be misogynistic...actually a lot of men, when called out on being misogynistic, are all like, 'but i don't hate women!' a lot of times misogyny is really subtle, especially in modern society

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

avatarmex In reply to zombieless [2012-08-01 02:25:01 +0000 UTC]

trainwreck ?

i think that could be right, well i was talking about canibalism in a death situation

well then, can you explain me what is misogynisti
i dont really hate women, i like them D:

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-08-01 02:42:35 +0000 UTC]

a trainwreck is a large and catastrophic accident involving a large railway vehicle.

...what are you talking about? death situation?

uh misogyny is degradation of women. it can cover anything from men who think women should stay in the kitchen to people who think women who wear short clothes are asking for rape/deserve it, to the media, which repeatedly sexualizes and portrays women badly, to society, which places so much on appearance and romance, to men who continuously flirt with girls who are uncomfortable with their advances

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

avatarmex In reply to zombieless [2012-08-01 02:52:15 +0000 UTC]

id lol because the context in how you say that

yeah, you know like, im starving, im gonna eat my brother so i can survive

what, why did he told me misogynist
im not a religious fanatic so i will degrade girls .-.
remember the soviet law, we are all equal

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-08-01 03:09:20 +0000 UTC]

this comment string is a trainwreck. enough said.

...and what is that supposed to mean?

...repeatedly calling girls 'cute' or constantly viewing girls romantically or sexually can be interpreted as misogynistic, as it can make girls feel uncomfortable because of our horrible society. debatable, though

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

avatarmex In reply to zombieless [2012-08-01 03:17:47 +0000 UTC]

lol

that means that in a extreme situation of hunger, animals can do cannibalism to survive, its a natural survival actitude

well, i live in mexico and say girls are cute or view girls romantically, is not big deal, at least no in my friends, so i dunno

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-08-01 04:03:44 +0000 UTC]

...and what does that have to do with homosexuality? people are only homosexuals if they're desperate? that's...really not the case. sure, there's often guys having sex with other guys in places where there's not too many females like in the military, but oftentimes those people don't really identify as homosexuals anyway? in that case, it's more for sex as a pastime for them rather than romance.

when it gets to the point where you see every girl like that, some may feel uncomfortable and self conscious though

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

avatarmex In reply to zombieless [2012-08-01 05:39:18 +0000 UTC]

well both reproduction and eating are survival intins
well you are right

well thats right

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-08-01 15:17:44 +0000 UTC]

...eating is definitely a survival mechanism, obviously, but reproduction not so much. sure, a sex drive exists, but there are a lot of aromantic and asexual people too. and as humans, our quality of life has gone up so far that its not a problem. rather, we actually have problems with overpopulation, so we should actually restrict our reproduction. in the wild, homosexuality probably exists to curb a population.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

avatarmex In reply to zombieless [2012-08-01 17:04:11 +0000 UTC]

i think reproduction is the most important thing to preserve the specie
restrict our reproduction can be viable but unnatural, what if suddenl people cant have babies anymore ?, the human specie will go extint

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zombieless In reply to avatarmex [2012-08-01 17:25:30 +0000 UTC]

well, from a species standpoint, yes. but humans are intelligent and busy themselves with other things like culture and living conditions.

....not restricting our population is fucking suicide. look at china, look at africa, look at all those places. i'm more afraid of the human population eating up all the resources and going extinct than a depopulation bomb. besides; if such a thing were to happen, whether or not we restricted the population beforehand wouldn't matter! anyways, i'm not necessarily calling for an enforcement of those rules, its a general sociological rule that as the standards of living go up, people have less children. so we should focus on betterment of third world countries

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

avatarmex In reply to zombieless [2012-08-01 17:38:49 +0000 UTC]

well as humans, we are kinda seflfish, we are the only ones that deserve to have "nice living condition", as the most advanced specie in the world, we should help the others to have nice enviroment too

ohh, i thougth you were saying like, have no kids at all
yeah restrict like 1 or 2 kids per family will be good.
well maybe make people with genetical engienering

thinking about this, and leaving morals and human rights beside
canibalism would save the world, like less people, no hunger, but damn that would be terrible has hell
