Description Now as many of you know, I'm usually rather opinionated about lead singers. (coughiludlroverfrololcough)

Like, I'll usually be able to pick one over the other.

But, for one reason or another, I freaking love Ripper Owens AND Rob Halford. x3

I honestly can't pick. o-o; I freaking love both of them.

So... yeah! Here's the amazing Tim "Ripper" Owens and Rob Halford of Judas Priest. ^_^

Personally I prefer Rob, he's like THE ICON of lead singers in heavy metal n' stuff... but I also like Ripper which I had the opportunity to see on stage (not so many bands are coming to Chile lately )

hehe As I said up there, I don't know who I prefer. I mean... the boys in Priest are so versatile, they were able to make Ripper sound like he had been in the band for decades.

And he sounded damn good.

Rob HAS been in the band for decades.

And sounds damn good.

Like... jeezums. Have you heard his cover of Exciter? It was on a Priest tribute album that just came out and that song made me jump back with "WOAH!". ;D It was incredible... absolutely showed his abilities.

...sad thing is... now Rob's vocals on the original sound boring in comparison! XD

His stuff w/ Winter's Bane is awesome because it was produced properly. The Ripper's vocals are out in front WHERE THEY BELONG and not multi-tracked or buried under mountains of FX.

No...it's just that for some reason...Owens reminds me of Corabi...it must have to do with the fact that both Priest and the Crue replaced their main lead singer (Rob Halford and Vince Neil) with two lesser known singers (Owens, Corabi) and replaced them with the singer who left.

....I honestly dont know why they remind me of each other. I'm just weird.
