this is really, really, really kick-ass. on the critic part, i suppose the grayish trees and sky behind should have a bit more depth and texture (maybe even some colors) to give a more eerie and hollow feel, just like a real forest-y area. and leon's arm should be a little itty bit more long, but then *shrug* maybe that's just me being oc. anyway, fantastic work.

O___O Fantastic! I love the brushes in the back and the half painted half lineart sort of way the art is. Great job making the atmosphere seem dingy and wet. <3

Okay, but do you think you can include me into the copyright too? Also... I noticed that you had erased my signature too....

ZombieSandwich In reply to Alamus [2008-02-05 19:48:21 +0000 UTC]
Huh? Are we talking about the same website?
Or has somebody stolen this pic? >_>
CGTalk puts that black border on all images you upload automaticly that's why it says copyright by me >_<
Do you have some sort of handwritten signature tag? Then I can just put it on the picture, since setting the layer to multiply made it indeed invisible... however once I will upload it there again it will put this copyright Anne blahblah on the image automaticly again... :/
But basically, having some sort of copyright attached to the painting is better than having none, sothat in case it is stolen, people find at least one of us, or both.
Last but not least, even if CGTalk automaticly puts some nasty tags on the pictures this doesn't mean that anything between us both will be changed.
I will never use this picture for any profit stuff. o_O

Well if there is my signature in the file there, all you can do is cut the layer separate from the rest of the inks and set that layer above the others.
Its just I just now noticed my signature wasn't in there, and I had someone somewhere else yell at me for saying that this piece in its original form was mine. x.x
So maybe if both our signatures are there, then people won't be so damned stupid. x.x x.x

"Its just I just now noticed my signature wasn't in there"
Same happened to me, I really didn't see that it wasn't visible with the colors anymore *__*
So do you have some sort of handwritten tag now? (Because this would fit very well with my handwritten tag...)
Oh and... people just can't read! I usually always write that you did the outlines, with a link to your gallery. So do they say you stole "my" outlines or what??? o_O

Alamus In reply to ZombieSandwich [2008-02-07 13:50:31 +0000 UTC]
Its like they just don't believe me. And then when they do see I'm telling the truth about doing the inks they're just like "ya, watevear! the colors are better anywho!" and then I die a little inside. x.x
blaaahhhh... I'll get you that signature thing sometime later today. I got to get ready for work.

o___o
Show me who is saying that shit to you and I'm gonna tell him something! Those people obviously underestimate the power of good pencils/ inks! (And on top of that they can't read!!)

ZombieSandwich In reply to ZombieSandwich [2008-02-07 17:38:49 +0000 UTC]
Okay I put a nice "handwriten" signature tag on the image for you right next to mine.
That plus the image description should usually do it!
But I am still somewhat angry how people can be so stupid... I think I'm gonna write a journal bout that now! )/"Β§&/$%!Β§(189283/(/!!
