Deramina recently learned that her species that had been Anthrotized have become fully indoctrinated with the Furries.
With the horror of knowing this and the fact that the Meti had been on a crusade to fully exterminate all forms of furry/anthro/yiff lifeforms from existence, Deramina gathered a force of her own and led them strait to Equestrian controlled planets with the intent on purging their disgusting existence to clean her conscience.

For over 400 years, the Meti had been hunting these Anthro'd creatures named "Furries" or "Furrmongrels" as given by the Meti's species specialists.
And the Meti's influence got Deramina thinking that her race was unpure. The only thing keeping her from being unpure was the fact that she was now a Meti and had Tyrobine DNA flowing through her veins as part of the mergence with the Meti.
The mere thought that her being an Anthro Equestrian made her one of the Furries sickened her to her stomach. Only with the slaughter of hundreds of her own Anthro race could she find clarity.
