I love your execution of this design. The night sky in the mane comes across very nicely (way better than Nightmare Moon's whispy "evil smoke" effect) but as a result it's also much less... Um... Evil. Though I should admit the cohabitation of the infinite white void with a flutter pony definately softens the tone a whole bunch.
