The 601 class (2-6-6-0)

A Mallett-system locomotive, the first section can turn independently form the locomotive's main frame.
Designed in 1914 for heavy freight trains, and for mountain tracks. In Hungary, this class was the biggest steam loco ever built. The crew called it "Steam-Giant". It's mass was 150metric tons with full filled coalcar. Top speed was 50 km/h, later 60 km/h (approx. 40-45mph). The Giant could deliver an 1800 metric tons of freight train (on horizontal track) with 50 kph. It had an enermous Brotan-Deffner boiler (in 1914, it was the biggest in Europe), and 4 cylinders with dual expansion system. The Turkish Railways also bought some. There is no exising loco of this class.
