Description
Ok, here's sculpture #2 from my 3D class! The topic for this sculpture was to pick an object that we use everyday and somehow abstract it. I chose milk since that stuff is yummy!I was dissapointed that it was top heavy and that I ran out of time, so I was unable to put weights in the bottom.
Despite this, at the critique I was told that the accidentaly exposed wood grain gives it a liquidy look and the several layers of paint gives it a good liquid look. I was also complimented on the overall look. Personally I liked how it turned out and am especially happy about how the folds of the milk carton opening came out! But now, let's see what you guys think!
Materials consist of wood (don't remember what kind so don't ask), wood glue, and gloss white paint. Build/paint time was about 15 hours.

So that's what that thing in my art class is! There's a sculpture like this at my school, but I could never figure out what it is.

no, it's not completely like this, a few differences... besides, it's like 20 years old!

Aww this is really cool! At first I though it was some digital stuff that you had made on the computer or something (a)
It's a great idea, and the glossy paint makes the whole thing look more alive. I think you should be well proud of it ^^

hey thanks, I am very proud of how it came out! I just wished I put some weights in the base so I could hang the top out more. Oh well, thanks for the nice comment!
